Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems
EIFS provides a lifetime of exterior insulation and finish with no maintenance. It consists of an extruded polystyrene board, which is then covered with a thin layer of concrete embedded with fiberglass mesh. The final step is an acrylic finish coat in the chosen color and texture. It is perfect for the variable weather we have in the northern climates. EIFS is not damaged by water or snow like wood. It does not warp in high temperatures like vinyl siding. It requires little or no maintenance. Initial costs are little higher than traditional siding, but the product more than pays for itself over time in lower maintenance costs and increased insulation values from the foam board.
